A good book is a good friend. It will talk to you when you want it to talk, and it will keep still when you want it to keep still – and there are not many friends who know enough for that.

This is one thing that remains even after years pass by. The time you spend reading determines the quality of your life. A book is the best source of enriching yourself- mentally and spiritually. It matters a lot actually WHAT do you read, though. In all my classes, I suggest people should read at least 20 pages of good, motivational positive thought books every day. Its benefits are multi-faceted.
First of all, it keeps you positive and makes you ready to take on challenges. It helps you boost yourself when you are down with the tiresome situations of life. Such books generate happy feelings within you and keep you cool, no matter what. They make you more confident, contented and action-oriented. There are books which transform lives altogether, like the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
I mean, whatever book you lay hands on should nourish your inner self. Stay away from the ones that fill you with negativity and pessimism. Never let darkness penetrate into our lives in the form of feelings or ideas. Happiness is a goal we need to set and every action should be targeted around it. When you get a book, quickly browse through it to see what it speaks about. If it is rubbish, find no time to dump it.
There is nothing called “no time to read” in any life. You may fix a particular time to pursue the sweet habit or simply grab a book whenever you get some time to relax (you’ll get it, absolutely). I know many who find time to read amid busy schedule and even when they are travelling! If you really can’t have physical books with you, why don’t you listen to audio books while you are driving? The new technological advancements offer you this and more.
Words are powerful. Words are magical. Never stay away from their life-transforming energy.
