How to Achieve your Goals

The human mind is capable to achieve anything in this world; skyscrapers, amazing bridges, unbelievable inventions almost everything you see around was first born in the mind of somebody before it is transformed into reality. If you want to achieve something with the help of your mind it is vital to have a goal. Sadly only 3% of the people have a goal and a study shows that among them only 1% is keeping their goal constantly. 99% of the rest remains in a mediocre lifestyle. Once you got a goal which means you have a destination to reach. To reach your destination successfully it is important to follow a clear map and implement some strategies or else there are chances to get deviated or get lost in the middle of the journey.

Goals are manifested into reality only through actions. These actions include purifying your mind from impurities which blocks your path towards reaching the goal, focus, believing yourself etc. Some important strategies which help in achieving your goals are listed below.

  • Visualization: Visualization is the process of creating a clear picture of your goal in your mind and experiencing it, otherwise it’s daydreaming with a purpose. Visualization involves experiencing the activity, event or desired result in your mind.
  • Affirmation: Positive affirmation is a great way to condition your mind to achieve your goal. Affirmation communicates regularly with the conscious and subconscious mind to manifest your dreams and goal into reality.
  • Meditation: Meditation is a highly powerful and effective practice for developing mind power. It’s great for your physical as well as mental health. You can reap numerous benefits by meditating on a daily basis. Some of them are lessened anxiety, fear, and depression. Improves your mood and emotional intelligence, helps in breaking addiction, Increases mental strength and focus, Improves breathing and heart rate etc. Meditation offers you a great insight about your goals and how to achieve them.
  • Vision Board: Use a vision board having positive quotes or write your dream and goals on a vision board will frequently communicate with your subconscious mind. This will strengthen and stimulate your emotions because your mind will respond strongly to visual stimulation.
  • Autosuggestion: It is a process of tuning the mind to the desired state which only accepts useful and positive things through your sense organs filter out all negative, fearful situations and useless opinions and criticism which may drift you from the goal.
  • Dissociation: When you have to deal with an extremely negative situation or group apply Dissociation at your aid. It is a way of coping by avoiding negative thoughts or feelings related to memories of traumatic events. When people are dissociating which helps them to disconnect from the negative surroundings, which can stop the unpleasant memories and reduce anxiety, fear and shame.
  • Introspection: Introspection is the process of self-examination; before you sleep analyze all the things happened on the day. Evaluate how efficient was the day, ask your self do you accomplish anything or make any mistakes, if any mistakes happen from your side correct it. Be grateful to God and people who make your day awesome and forgive them who bring you trouble and pain. Always remember forgiveness is an attribute of a strong person. Always be kind towards others. Maintain a complete peace of mind in your bed and visualize your goal and successes you are anticipating while falling asleep.
